Ponies

Ponies

True little horses with strong personalities, the ponies enjoy a very comfortable paddock at Cigoland. You’ll often see them galloping or prancing around.
They’re smart and friendly and won’t hesitate to come over for a pet.

You’ll find them especially “friendly” at mealtimes when they head to their watering holes next to the “Chez Noody” dining area and the picnic area.
But be nice—don’t feed them anything, even if these little rascals try to make you think they’re starving!

Did you know?

Ponies don’t see the world the way we do! Because their eyes are set on the sides of their heads, equines have a field of vision of about 340°, compared to about 190° for humans. There’s only a small blind spot directly behind them.

They also perceive colors differently: blue and yellow are particularly noticeable, but red and green aren’t seen the way we see them. And while they often doze off while standing, they also need to lie down for certain phases of their sleep!
