The Goats
A billy goat is the male of the goat; it is a species or subspecies of herbivorous, ruminant mammal belonging to the Bovidae family, subfamily Caprinae. It is characterized by horns that are sometimes lyre-shaped, a tuft of hair under the chin, and a very strong odor. Males of the largest breeds can weigh up to 140 kilograms. When females are nursing their young, males charge at intruders and confront humans more readily than rams do.
