PREAMBLE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”) exclusively govern the online sale of products offered on the website www.cigoland.fr by SARL Parc des Cigognes et Loisirs, whose principal place of business is located at Route de Sélestat, 67600 Kintzheim, registered under SIRET number 40423444500017 (hereinafter “the Seller”).
This contract is governed by French law, regardless of the buyer’s region or country of origin. Should any provision be deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The Seller reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice; such modifications shall apply to orders placed thereafter.
ARTICLE 1 – SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts entered into between the Seller and any buyer (an individual or legal entity acting for non-commercial purposes) through the website www.cigoland.fr. They govern the sale of the following products:
– Online ticketing: dated tickets (Billet Malin) and undated tickets (season e-tickets)
– Season Pass
– Cigoland Gift Cards
These Terms and Conditions also apply to admission tickets sold directly by the Park or through authorized business partners and distributors, unless otherwise specified in specific contractual provisions applicable to those partners.

– The buyer: any individual or legal entity purchasing products for non-business purposes
– E-ticket: a digital admission ticket sent by email
– Smart Ticket: a dated ticket purchased at least 7 days in advance at a reduced rate, valid only on the selected date

ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCTS
3.1 Ticket Office
The online ticket office offers admission tickets to Parc Cigoland for adults, seniors (age 60 and older), and children (ages 3 to 11). Children under 3 years of age are admitted free of charge. Children get free admission on their birthday upon presentation of proof of date of birth. A special rate is available upon presentation of a valid Mobility Inclusion Card (CMI) for disability or priority access.
Current rates are available at any time at www.cigoland.fr/tarifs-et-horaires. Promotional offers are valid according to their specific terms and conditions and cannot be combined with other offers for the same product.
Two types of tickets are available:
– Undated ticket (1-day e-ticket): valid for one day of admission on any day the park is open, at the holder’s discretion, during the validity period expressly stated on the ticket. Unless otherwise specified, the validity period covers the season in which the ticket was issued as well as the following season.
– Smart Ticket (dated ticket): valid only on the date selected at the time of purchase, subject to availability, at a reduced rate when purchased at least 7 days in advance.
– Tickets sold on-site: Tickets may also be purchased directly at the Park’s ticket counters on the day of your visit. These tickets are valid only on the day of purchase and may not be used at a later date under any circumstances, unless the Park expressly states otherwise.
These tickets may take the form of a printed ticket or a medium equipped with a verification mechanism (such as a punch, stamp, or any other internal validation system). Any alteration, reproduction, or attempt to reuse them will result in their immediate invalidation.
Guests staying at the Hôtel Au Parc des Cigognes or the Hôtel Cigoland can also have their daily admission tickets extended to cover the entire duration of their stay, at no additional cost, upon presentation of the tickets at the front desk during check-in.
Admission tickets may be sold directly by the Park or through authorized distribution partners (social and economic committees, ticketing platforms, authorized resellers, and travel agencies).
Tickets sold at the box office constitute a separate offer—particularly in terms of pricing and terms of use—from tickets sold online or through partners.
3.2 Season Pass
A personalized, non-transferable membership providing unlimited access to Cigoland Park on all operating days during the specified season, as per the calendar published on www.cigoland.fr. The current rate is available at www.cigoland.fr/tarifs-et-horaires.
The Season Pass grants the holder—and only the holder—the following non-transferable benefits:
– Access to special offers and events
– 10% off purchases in stores and at restaurants at Parc Cigoland and within the Hotel Complex
3.3 Gift Cards
A prepaid payment instrument with a flexible balance, available in two formats:
– E-card (PDF): sent by email to the selected recipient immediately after the order is confirmed
– Physical card (credit card size): shipped by mail within a maximum of 48 business hours after the order is confirmed; additional fee of €5 per shipping address in mainland France only
Valid for ticket purchases (including on www.cigoland.fr), dining, and shopping at the Cigoland Hotel and Leisure Complex. Maximum of 3 cards per order.
3.4 Alsace Pass
Cigoland is a partner of the Pass Alsace, a tourist pass that provides access to 48 partner sites (valid for 24 hours, 48 hours, or 3 days within a rolling 14-day period). For more information, as well as the Terms of Use and Terms and Conditions, visit www.pass-alsace.com.
ARTICLE 4 – PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are listed in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC), based on the applicable tax rate in effect in France, excluding shipping costs, if any. The applicable price is the one displayed on the website at the time the order is confirmed. The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time.
Payment is due in full at the time of order. Banking information is transmitted directly to the authorized financial institution that processes and secures the transaction. The Seller does not have access to the buyer’s banking information at any time.
ARTICLE 5 – FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT
The contract is formed upon completion of the online ordering process, which includes the following steps:
– Select the product(s) in the Ticket Office or the Store
– Checkout and login (existing account or create an account)
– Confirmation of the billing address and, if applicable, the shipping address
– Selection of the shipping method for physical products and express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale
– Pre-payment summary (order number, products, price, shipping costs, total including tax)
– Secure payment and contract conclusion
As soon as payment is confirmed, an order confirmation email is sent to the buyer. For e-tickets and the Season Pass, this email contains a link to download the ticket(s). The order confirmation serves as proof of the contract.
ARTICLE 6 – TERMS OF USE FOR TICKETS
6.1 Conditions Applicable to All Tickets
The ticket must be presented at the park entrance in a readable digital format (QR code on a smartphone or any other electronic device) or as a printed paper copy. Any ticket that is illegible, incomplete, altered, or has already been used may be refused, and such refusal does not entitle the holder to any compensation. The ticket is valid only for the date or period indicated; once expired, it does not entitle the holder to admission, a refund, or an exchange.
Tickets issued by authorized third-party partners are subject to the same terms of use as tickets issued directly by the Park, provided they are valid, legible, and authentic.
The Park reserves the right to refuse any ticket that is defective, duplicated, inconsistent, or improperly issued, including those purchased from a third party.
6.2 Undated Ticket (Season E-Ticket)
Valid for any operating day of the customer’s choice, within the date or period indicated on the ticket according to the calendar published on www.cigoland.fr. After this period, the ticket expires without a refund.
Since the undated ticket covers the entire season (a specified period), the right of withdrawal does not apply, in accordance with Article L.221-28(12) of the Consumer Code. The purchaser is expressly informed of this prior to any purchase.
For Senior and Child tickets, proof of identification may be required at the entrance to verify the ticket holder’s age.
6.3 Smart Ticket (dated ticket)
Valid only on the date selected at the time of purchase, subject to availability. Non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be combined with any other offer.
Art. L.221-28(12) of the Consumer Code: The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to recreational services provided on a specific date. The purchaser is informed of this before finalizing the order.
6.4 Tickets Sold on Site
Tickets purchased at the ticket office on the day of the visit are valid only for that day and automatically expire when the Park closes. Tickets purchased at the ticket office are not valid for a later date or transferable. They are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
6.5 Fraud
Any form of fraud (forgery, duplication, unauthorized commercial resale) will result in the immediate invalidation of the ticket without a refund and may lead to legal action.
ARTICLE 7 – SEASON PASS
7.1 Nature and Duration
The Season Pass is a personalized, non-transferable pass valid for the season as defined by the dates published on www.cigoland.fr at the time of purchase. The voucher received by email is exchanged at the ticket counter for a permanent Season Pass card during your first visit, after its validity has been verified.
7.2 No Right of Withdrawal
Since the Season Pass provides access to recreational activities over a specified period (the season), the legal right of withdrawal does not apply, in accordance with Article L.221-28(12) of the Consumer Code. The purchaser is expressly informed of this before finalizing their order.
7.3 Terms of Use
– Valid on all days the park is open during the season, according to the schedule published on www.cigoland.fr
– A recent passport-size photograph of the cardholder is required. The cardholder must affix the photograph under the protective film provided for that purpose no later than the second visit. Failure to do so may result in the park denying access until the matter is resolved. (Processing in accordance with Article 14).
– The Season Pass must be presented at every checkpoint and upon each entry into the park. The park reserves the right to verify the holder’s identity using a valid official form of identification.
– In the event of loss, theft, damage, or destruction of the Season Pass, a replacement may be issued for a fee based on the rate in effect on the date of the request.
– Entitles the holder to the in-store and dining discounts specified in Section 3.2. These benefits are strictly reserved for the Season Pass holder and may not be transferred to a third party.
– The Season Pass does not grant any priority access to the park, attractions, shows, dining areas, or any other facilities, unless expressly stated otherwise.
7.4 Fraud
Any fraudulent use (lending, transfer, or forgery) will result in the immediate cancellation of the Pass without a refund and may lead to legal action.
ARTICLE 8 – GIFT CARDS
8.1 Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the purchaser has fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of purchase to exercise their right of withdrawal, provided that the Gift Card has not been used, even partially. A full refund will be issued within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the request, via the same payment method. If the Gift Card has been partially used before the expiration of this period, the right to withdraw is forfeited for the amount used.
8.2 Validity
The Gift Card is valid for twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase. Upon expiration, any remaining balance is permanently forfeited, with no refund or extension. The purchaser is expressly informed of this at the time of purchase.
8.3 Use
– Can be used in one or more transactions, up to the available balance.
– Accepted at the box office (including on www.cigoland.fr), restaurants, and shops at the Cigoland Hotel and Leisure Complex.
– Non-refundable, unless the right of withdrawal is exercised in accordance with the terms of Section 8.1.
– Not redeemable for cash. No change given. Does not earn interest.
– Maximum of 3 cards per order.
8.4 Loss or Theft
Each card is identified by a unique number. In the event of loss or theft, the purchaser may request that the Seller block the card (Article 15). While this is technically possible, it does not entitle the purchaser to a refund of the remaining balance or to the issuance of a replacement card.
ARTICLE 9 – SUMMARY – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Product Right of Withdrawal Legal Basis / Condition
Dated Ticket (Smart Ticket) None Art. L.221-28, Subparagraph 12 – service with a fixed date
Undated ticket (season e-ticket) None Art. L.221-28, 12° – recreational activities for a specified period (season)

To exercise the right of withdrawal (Gift Cards only, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 8.1), the purchaser must submit a request using the contact information provided in Section 15.
ARTICLE 10 – REFUNDS
Except in cases where the right of withdrawal under Article 8.1 is exercised or where there is a mandatory legal obligation, no refund is due.
Exception: In the event of a total closure of the Park due to force majeure (Art. 1218 of the Civil Code) on the day of a visit by a purchaser holding a dated ticket (Billet Malin), the Seller shall offer the customer the option of rescheduling the visit to an available date or receiving a full refund within fourteen (14) days.
Partial closures of attractions, changes to shows, or schedule adjustments due to inclement weather do not constitute force majeure and do not entitle visitors to a refund. These changes are posted on the homepage at www.cigoland.fr.
Requests for refunds or cancellations regarding the purchase price of a ticket purchased from a third-party reseller must be directed exclusively to that reseller, as the Park is not a party to the original sales contract—even in the event of a promotion or an incorrect price charged by the reseller.
ARTICLE 11 – LIABILITY
The Seller shall not be held liable in the event of force majeure, operational disruptions beyond its control, or improper use of the purchased products.
In any event, the Seller’s liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the buyer for the service in question.
The Seller shall not be held liable for exceptional errors on the website (such as a glaring pricing error displaying a price equal to or less than one-tenth of the usual price, or a technical malfunction). Such orders may be automatically canceled, and the buyer will receive a full refund.
The Park shall not be held liable for the terms of sale, pricing, or distribution practices applied by third-party distribution partners.
In the case of tickets issued by third parties, the burden of proof regarding the original commercial transaction rests with the relevant reseller.
ARTICLE 12 – MEDIATION
In accordance with Article L.616-1 of the Consumer Code, if a dispute cannot be resolved amicably with customer service, the consumer may file a complaint free of charge with the appropriate mediator:

This information is available on the product pages of the website www.cigoland.fr and is reiterated during the ordering process.

ARTICLE 17 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, regardless of the buyer’s region or country of origin. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through mediation, the courts with jurisdiction are those of the Bas-Rhin department.
PART II – GENERAL TERMS OF USE (GTCU)
ARTICLE 1 – ACCESS TO THE PARK
Admission to the Park is contingent upon the presentation of a valid admission ticket (ticket, Season Pass, or proof of purchase) in a legible format: digital (a clear, intact QR code on a smartphone or any electronic device) or a printed copy of sufficient quality. Staff may deny admission if the ticket is invalid, expired, illegible, or fraudulent.
ARTICLE 2 – E-TICKETS
E-tickets are presented in a readable digital format or as printed copies. Any ticket with an illegible, damaged, or altered QR code may be refused. In the event of a technical issue at the entrance, the customer should go to the ticket window with the order confirmation from www.cigoland.fr that was sent by email.
ARTICLE 3 – SEASON PASS
The permanent Season Pass (issued at the ticket counter during your first visit) must be presented upon each entry. Staff may request a valid form of identification at any time. Since the Pass is strictly non-transferable and personal, lending or transferring it to a third party constitutes fraud and will result in its immediate cancellation without a refund.
ARTICLE 4 – GIFT CARDS
Gift cards are accepted at the online ticket office (www.cigoland.fr), at the ticket counters, at restaurants, and in the shops at the Cigoland Hotel and Leisure Complex. They are not accepted at other establishments.
ARTICLE 5 – VISITOR CONDUCT
All visitors agree to follow the safety guidelines posted and communicated by staff, to comply with restrictions on access to restricted areas, and to behave respectfully toward the animals, the facilities, and other visitors.
The following are specifically prohibited: the use of drones or remote-controlled devices without prior written authorization from management; the resale of admission tickets; and any behavior that is dangerous, fraudulent, or contrary to public order.
Any violation may result in immediate expulsion without a refund and, if applicable, the filing of a complaint.
ARTICLE 6 – OPERATING CONDITIONS
The park is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ticket offices close one hour before the park closes. Opening hours may be extended until 7 p.m. if the park is crowded. Opening hours and the schedule are available at www.cigoland.fr/tarifs-et-horaires.
The Seller reserves the right to change, without prior notice or compensation, the hours of operation, the show schedule, and the availability of attractions for reasons of safety, maintenance, or weather conditions.
In the event of inclement weather, management reserves the right to change the opening or closing times of the attractions or the Park without entitling guests to a discount or refund, and will notify guests via an announcement on the homepage at www.cigoland.fr.
These adjustments do not constitute grounds for a refund, unless the Park is completely closed due to force majeure on the date specified on the ticket (see Article 10 of the Terms and Conditions).
ARTICLE 7 – PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGE RECORDING
Photography for personal, non-commercial use is permitted. Any commercial use, public display for profit, or resale of images featuring the Park’s facilities, animals, or staff is prohibited without prior written authorization from management.
ARTICLE 8 – SAFETY AND MEDICAL RESTRICTIONS
Restrictions regarding height, age, physical condition, or health apply to certain attractions and are posted at their entrances. It is the visitor’s responsibility to comply with these restrictions. The Park assumes no liability in the event of noncompliance. Park staff may deny access to an attraction or to the Park to anyone who poses a risk to themselves or others.
ARTICLE 9 – ACCESSIBILITY
The Park welcomes visitors with disabilities under the best possible conditions. Information is available at www.cigoland.fr/accessibilite-et-handicap. Special rates apply upon presentation of a valid Mobility Inclusion Card (CMI) for disability or priority access.
ARTICLE 10 – LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
The lost and found service can be accessed at www.troov.com/cigoland. Items not claimed within the legally prescribed time limit are turned over to the appropriate authorities.
